James writes to believers scattered and tested, urging them to let endurance mature them. In that setting, wisdom is not merely intelligence or information; it is God-given insight for living faithfully amid trials. Open Scripture and consider which clear commands, promises, and patterns bear on the decision; God’s guidance will never contradict his revealed Word. Then seek counsel from a mature, trustworthy believer who knows both Scripture and your circumstances. Write down the next obedient action, even if it is small: make the honest call, revise the budget, apologize, wait overnight, or set a digital boundary. You do not need to manufacture certainty. Ask, listen, test, and move forward trusting God’s generous heart.
